The G5- Internship Training is a semester-long, industry-simulated work experience program in Geoinformatics and GIS applications.
We replicate the structure, expectations, and deliverables of a real corporate internship — without you having to cold-email 50 companies or settle for unpaid, exploitative internships that teach you nothing.
Work under an industry mentor, complete professional deliverables, participate in team activities and build evidence of your practical GIS skills.
Work Like a Professional GIS Intern
Instead of simply attending training sessions, you will work through structured assignments, project reviews and professional workflows designed to simulate the experience of working in a real organization.
What You Will Do
Work on live or realistic projects covering different geospatial and GIS application domains.
Receive tasks, technical guidance and regular progress reviews from an industry mentor.
Complete structured weekly assignments and submit deliverables just like a professional intern.
Take part in virtual team meetings, project discussions and client-style simulations.
Create a portfolio website or GitHub repository that showcases your completed GIS projects and skills.
Receive a verified internship certificate with performance grading upon successful completion.
Who Should Attend?
The program is designed for students and graduates who want to gain practical GIS experience and build a stronger professional profile before entering the geospatial industry.
Suitable for students who have completed or are currently pursuing graduation or postgraduation.
Participants should have basic familiarity with GIS concepts. A quick refresher is provided.
Participants should be able to commit approximately 10–12 hours per week to internship activities.
